aim SESSION at the

ASSOCIATION of ANAESTHETISTS

Annual Congress in Liverpool

23rd-25th September 2009

The focus in the NHS has been on Quantity for many years now. However, with waiting times reduced and many targets achieved, the Darzi report has now shifted the focus towards Quality. aim will be organising a whole session at the AAGBI Autumn Congress which concentrates on how we achieve and demonstrate Quality in anaesthesia, whilst maintaining Quantity: of interest to all anaesthetists, whether they have management responsibilities or not.

HELD at Association of Anaesthetists, London W1

CLICK Autumn with reports on this seminar

CLICK FOR "TRAINING TO BE A MANAGER" PRESENTATION

Wednesday 24th June 2009

With the European Working Time Directive (EWTD) 48-hour deadline just around the corner, in August 2009, we focussed on the different ways of achieving this, by flexible use of all the Anaesthesia Team. We looked at how we deal with the Problem Anaesthetist, and provided an opportunity for networking, and for sharing problems and solutions, both within plenary discussions, and in break times around the formal sessions.
